Mosquito Control Cary
Cary is considered to be the most popular bedroom community to the Raleigh-Durham area, and when you take into account that it’s been named one of the safest places in America to live (ranked in the top 10 by FBI low crime statistics), it’s no wonder it’s growing as rapidly as it is. Even though Cary is safe from crime, unfortunately it’s not safe from mosquitoes. The town of Cary is bordered to the west by Jordon Lake and when you take into account the vast number of ponds throughout every community in Cary, mosquitoes have also made Cary their favorite place to live in the Triangle.
Protect your Family from Mosquito-Borne Illnesses
Mosquitoes are known carriers for both the West Nile virus and the Zika virus. These illnesses pose a risk to young children and expectant mothers. In this case a good offense is by taking the defensive measure of hiring a mosquito control expert like the exterminators at Mosquito Tek to perform a mosquito barrier treatment to the area around your home. Conveniently located near Cary, Mosquito Tek will come to your home (or business) and evaluate every area surrounding your home or company to ensure that the mosquito service will not only kill the adult mosquitoes, but will also kill all the mosquitoes in the areas where they breed so they don’t keep coming back. Mosquito elimination is important, but even more important is mosquito prevention through the use of potent larvicides that will eliminate mosquitoes in the water where they breed.
Environmentally Safe Organic Spray Treatments
Although Mosquito Tek offers Talstar conventional mosquito sprays for situations that require the strongest and most effective solutions available, you can also choose to go with Essentria organic mosquito treatments that are 100% safe for plants, wildlife, your organic garden, your pets and your family.
Optional Flea and Tick Protection
Mosquito Tek understands that mosquitoes aren’t the only pest that can cause harm to your family as well as your pets. Fleas can make your pets miserable with constantly scratching, and ticks are known carriers of Lyme disease which can cause flu-like symptoms to your family, and if left unchecked and prove fatal to your pets. Mosquito Tek offers flea and tick control treatments you can add to your mosquito control treatments.
Satisfaction Guarantee
When it comes to getting the best value for your money, it’s important to know that when you pay to exterminate mosquitoes from around your home, you can rest assured that after the mosquito exterminator has performed a spray treatment and leaves, you shouldn’t see any more mosquitoes. As part of the Mosquito Tek Satisfaction Guarantee, if you see even 1 mosquito either the same day or the day after the mosquito service, Mosquito Tek will come back out and respray at no additional charge. Your long term business is important, so to give you extra peace of mind Mosquito Tek also provides a money back guarantee that if you’re not 100% satisfied, you get a full refund!

Frequently Asked Questions about our Mosquito Control Services
What do you do when you perform a mosquito control treatment?
Eliminating mosquitoes around your home or business requires a four-step process:
1. We first assess the area around your home or business and identify the type of pests that needs to be eliminated (usually mosquitoes and/or fleas and ticks).
2. We then locate all of their breeding sites (usually areas where standing water is located).
3. After locating all breeding sites, we use larvicides in areas where the water cannot be simply emptied out.
4. The last part of the process is where we spray / mist adult mosquito harborage areas such as ground cover, bushes, lower canopy areas of trees, wood lines, and dense areas of undergrowth.
How long does it take to perform a mosquito treatment?
Most properties can be treated in around 30 minutes, but larger properties can take an hour or longer.
What type of insecticides do you offer, and how long do they last?
For mosquito elimination, we offer both a conventional and organic insecticide. The organic mosquito spray is all natural, environmentally safe and is extremely effective. It lasts up to 2 weeks, whereas the conventional spray will last up to 3 weeks.
Do we need to be at home when the treatment is done?
Not at all. Just make sure your gate is unlocked and all your pets are indoors. Your pest control technician will be provided with all the information relevant to your service (i.e. locked gate) when you sign up.
If the service is performed when we’re not at home, how will we know it was done?
Your technician will leave a door hanger (included will be the date and time of service) at the end of your treatment so you will know that your service was performed, but most importantly you’ll see a complete absence of mosquitoes, fleas and ticks (if chosen as an option) from your property!
What if my neighbors don’t get a mosquito treatment done, won’t the mosquitoes come to our property from theirs?
Yes they will, but as they enter the perimeter of the area where we have performed a treatment they will die. We suggest that neighbors consider widening the barrier of protection by collectively joining together and each purchasing a treatment plan. We offer neighborhood discounts for those that group together and purchase a treatment plan from us.
How much does it cost to get an estimate?
Our estimates are absolutely free, but we do prefer to provide them in person so we can better assess what plan is best for your particular needs.
What if we see mosquitoes between treatments?
Call us immediately. Our treatment plans have a 100% satisfaction guarantee, so we will come back out immediately and retreat your property at no additional charge.
